Music and me
I am Camron Wells,I’ve been involved in music for the longest , being that majority of my family are either singers, instrumenting, or both. I’m the only one who perused music in ed while the rest just use it for church, gigs, and became musicians. I’ve been involved with percussion ever since I was 8. I started out before hand with banging straws, pencils, etc on tables or anything that could make a percussive sound It drove my teachers crazy so memes but it was something that was a part of me. I dabbled a bit in piano, but it was mainly improvised or songs I’ve heard. I tried recorder and more instruments in elementary and middle, my teachers told me I was best at percussion, being I revived the highest grade on the percussion test. Drums, tambourine and some shakers were my first percussion instrument till I reached middle school. Been in band ever since 6th grade nd marching band ever since 7th. Now I tech and work towards teaching in that same category.
I’ve been involved in music or various ensembles even traveled for music! Met some folks that had music as their everyday life as well.

When I was playing drums for Brazilians dancers, this happened twice a semester, very much a fun time.
Some may know her from tik tok, she lives near the beach and I had her in master class, gave us lessons and it was a pleasure to meet her.
This is the type of music that I have been dealing with recently from a performance stand point, enjoyed every bit of it and some pieces weren’t recorded or taken pictures of
Me performing in marching band, was a fun season.

Hey Cam!I love that you have such a broad taste in music! As music majors, I feel it's important that we all try to be as open as possible to different genres in music. It helps us as grow as artists, and I know that you're an amazing one, so it clearly is working. I hope to see you continue to grow as artist during our time together at Converse!
